DirtBasement is a Pop-Punk/Emo band formed in Stroud, in 2024. Ben Lane (Rhythm Guitarist/Lead Vocalist), Fred Wyman (Drums) and Jack Dibbs (Lead Guitar) formed the band after meeting on social media. Soon after Ryan Crawley (Bass/Lead/Lead Vocals) and Mateusz Ellis (Synth, Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals) joined in to complete the lineup. This has allowed them to develop their signature sound, and become an established band in the Southwest of England.
In 2024, they released their debut EP ‘Pint of Kool-aid’, which was well-received by fans. Post release, they toured around the south west of England, headlining festivals and playing to packed rooms in venues such as the Exchange in Bristol. At the end of 2024, DirtBasement released their second official release in the form of a Christmas song, titled ‘A Christmas that didn’t feel so bad’ which again was well received by fans.
DirtBasement are currently working on their 1st album, which is forecasted to be released in September 2025. Their catchy melodies and never-ending energy has made them popular among venue bookers and promoters.
